Content Managment

Client: “Great you’ve built an awesome site for us, but there’s a typo on the home page, can you change it please?”
Typical Web Firm: “Yeah sure. That’ll cost you a half hour at x dollars an hour.”

This conversation is way to familiar for most of our competitors clients. The streamlined Content Management System or CMS we install on each site we build makes this conversation almost completely avoidable.

Our client's love our CMS for its ease of use, and we love it for it's maintainability. The system is not hard to learn and surely you'll get the hang of it in no time.

We Use WYMIWYG not WYSIWYG

At Logic Drift we use WYMIWYG editors opposed to the traditional WYSIWYG editors often used by many popular Content Management Systems. What is the difference between a WYMIWYG editor and a WYSIWYG editor you ask?

The difference is mainly that the code produced by a WYMIWYG editor is usually cleaner than a WYSIWYG editor. Additionally many find WYMIWYG editors easier to use and feel they can be more productive with WYMIWYG. Below is a table between comparing the two types of editors.

Alternatives Content Editing Modes

We understand the WYMIWYG concept and model may be new and starteling to many of our clients so we do offer a way to switch the editing mode in the CMS provided with a Logic Drift designed site to WYSIWYG. Additionally, you can edit your content in Markdown, Textile, or even straight HTML if you feel comfortable enough.
